#79 Into the woods

🌀 This warm-up emerged from a question that stayed with me after a fascia training workshop with Chris Lechner.
He asked us:
What if, when facing a challenge—bearing weight, holding still, or moving fast—we didn’t rely solely on the big "fight or flight" muscles?
What if we used just 10% effort in each muscle, but across the entire body—distributed through our fascia, that vast web of connective tissue linking everything inside us?
Like a well-functioning team, every part—muscles, fascia, bones, mind, attention—works together. No one part overcompensating, no one carrying everything alone.
I’ve been testing this idea in my warm-ups and movement research.
🌀 Can I stay equally connected to every cell in my body when I move quickly, as I do when moving slowly with full attention? And, as always: How can I translate this into my everyday life?
This video is a moment from that ongoing inquiry. Music: Into the woods, by Yusuke Tsutsumi.
